In full expansion, Milestone College is looking for a Student Recruitment Counselor to join its growing team!

Responsibilities

The person responsible for student recruitment is responsible for designing and implementing institutional student recruitment strategies, both in Quebec and around the world.

The person will have to:

  • Identify and analyze the needs of current and future clienteles, maintain statistics and make recommendations on the program offer;
  • Develop and implement the annual recruitment plan, conduct continuous evaluation of the student recruitment process;
  • Generate statistical monitoring reports, analyze them and make the necessary improvements to maximize their performance;
  • Design and manage national and international projects and partnerships;
  • Organize information sessions, open house days and campus visits;
  • Design, implement and improve program information and promotion tools so that they reflect the information needs of potential students;
  • Design, implement and improve promotions dedicated to social networks;
  • Inform potential students by phone, email or in person who need information on the requirements and admission requirements related to the programs offered;
  • Promote branding by participating in off-campus recruitment activities;
  • Work closely with all internal and external departments involved in the recruitment process, including the admissions and finance department;
  • Directs support staff, collaborates in their training, distributes work, verifies its execution;
  • Any other related duties delegated by the supervisor.

Qualifications and skills sought

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing or a related discipline;
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruitment or sales;
  • Bilingual French and English (knowing a third language is an asset);
  • Ability to work in a team in a rapidly changing environment;
  • Experience in the field of education is considered an asset;
  • Dynamic and proactive;
  • Skilled in communication and results-oriented.

LE COLLÈGE

Fondé en 2015, le Collège Milestone souhaite offrir un milieu de stage à un étudiant en comptabilité. La personne travaillera en étroite collaboration avec l’ensemble du personnel du département des finances.


RESPONSABILITÉS

  • Assurer le service d’aide financière aux études auprès des étudiants;
  • Saisir les données financières dans le logiciel COBA;
  • Contribuer à mettre en place et assurer les suivis des processus financiers établis;
  • Préparer, analyser, et transmettre les dépôts provenant des sommes recueillies des étudiants selon la fréquence et les procédures en vigueur;
  • Générer la liste de vérification pour la facturation;
  • Analyser l’âge des comptes à recevoir et assurer le suivi des soldes en souffrance;
  • Transmettre des états de compte aux étudiants;
  • Appuyer le département des finances dans leur opérations quotidiennes;
  • Toutes autres taches déléguées par le superviseur.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Place on-campus, co-op and graduated students and program participants in job market related to their studies, skills and experience;
  • Liaise with employers to assess job openings and placement needs;
  • Present informational workshops to students to outline requirements from the job market;
  • Arrange employment onboarding and follow up support to students;
  • Perform site visits at companies where candidates have been placed;
  • Maintain positive relationships with the company partners;
  • Create supporting documents for job placements;
  • Maintain information systems to ensure everything is accurate and up to date;
  • Genate reports and statistics on the student placement and other activities;
  • Set up job transition for students when needed;
  • Represent students to communication with employer.

REQUIREMENTS

  • In the process of getting a degree/diploma in business/communication/sales/HR or related field;
  • At least 1-year work of experience in sales, or customer service, or placement services, or recruitment;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to compose effective business correspondence;
  • Highly motivated by personal targets as well as team goals; a true team player;
  • Proficiency with data management;
  • Experience with a high volume of administrative work as well as proficient time management capabilities;
  • Good organization skills and strong ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines;
  • Bilingual French and English.

WORK SCHEDULE

  • Monday to Friday - 35 hours - fexible between 8h and 17h
